I think the recent paper shows that AI is not quite ready to replace radiologists: (Sep 2025) titled, "The Illusion of Readiness: Stress Testing Large Frontier Models on Multimodal Medical Benchmarks" Published by Microsoft Research, Health & Life Sciences.
Turns out AI has some unfixable features and tends to be great at guessing based on information outside of the information upon which it should be basing its conclusions.
