The AI I recently encountered at a fast food drive thru didn’t speak unclearly, too fast or too softly, and didn’t have an accent. But it wasted a bunch of my time by trying to up-sell me, which I found irritating, in a generally sing-song voice that one would expect to hear from a primary school teacher in a classroom full of 3rd graders. Long way to go, but by no means a dead end.
