Saying AI isn’t intelligent because it’s “just math and probabilities” doesn’t really hold up, because the human brain is also just electrochemical signals, weighted connections, and probabilistic firing which is math too. Intelligence isn’t defined by the mechanism underneath it, it’s defined by what the system can actually do: learn, reason through problems, and complete complex tasks in new situations. Calling AI “just math” is basically the same as calling the human mind “just chemistry”, it describes the machinery, but it doesn’t disprove the intelligence. (I used AI to generate this argument ; )
