That's stupid. The people who wrote assembly moved on to write higher level code. There's no generational argument here. The difference is each level of abstraction is deterministic, AI is not a coding abstraction any more than a PRD is a coding abstraction.
If you are outsourcing your brain to an AI and don't understand the code it generates you are not coding and you cannot call yourself a developer.
