Do you really think China is following their own regulations? In a country where voters pick the leader breaking your own regulations is a sure fire tactic to lose, so it’s better to just not have them
If we were to implement them we would end up just handing China the advantage, unless the government just conducts AI research againts its own laws and without us knowing, which I wouldn’t put past them either
