How does that make him a "old man yelling at clouds"? He seems genuinely spooked about the possibility and he's using his reach to speak up about that. His prediction doesn't seem completely out of the realm of possibility either (we may not get skynet or the matrix, but we could easily end up in a world where AI is automating a lot of societal functions and even overriding us...or just plain scams)
