Yeah… Have you ever played civilization? The quickest way to run through someone’s territory is to nuke them. The AI knows this just like an 8 year old does.
There is some sarcasm in my statement because I know what they’re doing is when more complicated than civilization. But the overall point is that the AI is just trying to win. Nuclear weapons are way to ensure a win.
