Medicine is one of the areas where I do truly feel ai will help as time efficiently and accurate diagnosis based on collected data is critical for saving lives. I just dread the idea of the medical industry seeing it as another chance to downsize the workforce. Even with ai help we most definitely still need teams of doctors and nurses working to actually save lives.

I’m honestly not worried at all. The smarter the AI is the more complicated programs we can create. That’s like programmers that use COBOL being afraid of Java, and programmers using Java being afraid of all the options of c based languages today.
