I have been hearing complaints about this for a few months now, AI taking away the jobs of artists. The thing is that people always pay extra for handcrafted, so good artists' work will just be at more of a premium.

I think most people are against automation only cause our current economic setup is for the owners to reap the profits and benefits in productivity, not the workers. Change that and I believe most people would be on board.

I think you’re underestimating the folks behind you in college. My wife grades papers regularly that, in a batch for a class, contain 3-5 using AI to do the writing.
