Very likely yes. The US Copyright office's decission was based on completely AI generated material. I am sure that if someone did any editing outside of the AI, the work would now be copyrightable. It hasn't been tested in court yet, but it will.

More one time, robots simply can't fight against humans, and make things by themselves. Robots learning and AI doesn't mean that they'll really think. They are not biological inteligence. It was created and follow human rules.

Honestly, disagree, I get that doctors, nurses, and etc. shouldn't lost their jobs (heck, I plan to become a doctor in the future and hope that ai won't replace them), but if AI and robotics is more effective in treating you, wouldn't it be better for the patient?

No, why would they need to keep their employees and pay them money when they can use AI to answer phones customer service is not something that has ever been or will ever be a secure position.

Don’t forget that 401k and SS are dependent of people working…if AI takes over and people are layoff there are no funds to be replenish for those who are retired.

AI is not a person. If you commission someone, they do the work. If you use an AI, whoever tagged the training set did the work. That may have been yourself.

​​​@raizin4908the entire point of AI is to make that process shorter. the whole point is to shorten the distance between ideas and results. there may be somewhat of a process now, but we're moving away from that more and more as these tools get better.

Actually this may help it. It can help detect the condition from a young age and your parents will know how to get treatment. AI medical industry will be huge.

Obviously most of this is speculation, but more than once, AI has surprised us with both its capabilities and more so, the speed at which it develops them. Anyone’s guess how that actually scales and manifests, but overall I think this sounds like a pretty reasonable roadmap given the trajectory we’re on.

@joetheschmoe1066 never been more irked and dis gusted by someone I used to look up to. How can you come from an artistic field like weaponry and sword making and twist it in your head that AI generated pics are the same as Artists' artworks? AGP that were the result of stolen and scrambled approximate renders, answering prompts??? Pay the artists for the art you use in your algorithm or go.

That also translates to majority humans, not just politicians. People fake and lie a lot and have inner disruptive and sick feelings and thoughts, AI, they way I understand, is using that in a cold systematic, statistical way.
