Idk how many terminator movies we all had to see to NOT create AI but we did anyway so we’re all fucked probably
How is this headlines they've been doing this already for awhile now... most big companies are doing it. they're just trying to get a AI headline in so the stock goes up. This is old news.
I have very little online (I’m a musician who avoids social media more or less) but I realized this problem early on and it’s deeply upsetting even for me. The prospect of sharing my original work is completely undermined.. and all I could think about are visual artists who’ve been online for years making a living. It’s insane.. and it’s content in general.. all of it derives from human beings..…
The thing about AI even the so called "experts" have very poor prediction record and deep down nobody actually knows!
AI Professor Geoffrey Hinton said: "To make money you are going to have to replace human labor." - let that sink in for a bit.
I'm an artist. But bullying and hating on people who use AI is just wrong. If AI isn't art, then tracing isn't art either.
Frankly, I think calling it "art" is an insult to the collective Human expirience. Art at its core is the expression of the soul. No AI can replicate that, and you can already start to see its failure at doing so in popular modern media. For example, some really big video games now lack the soul it used to have because decisions are made not by individual's vision but marketing teams who just fol…
My physic professor said, even if AI can write code, there’s still a need for someone who understand high tech stuff and coding to code something very specific, very sophisticated. So if you are more than just a coder, you may find yourself in a rare but in demand job in the future.
remember that one time when a robot on a football match mistook the judge's bald head for a ball
they took it to a whole new level nowadays
Y'all say ai's not creative but now there's a trend where you copy an ai piece?
What about a hairstylist ? A barber lol I wouldn’t let a robot cut my hair , I guess I’ll have to go to an underground barbershop. 😂
Anyone else feel like AI tools like Olovka just make school life so much easier? Study guides practically make themselves!
It seems like the whole ChatGPT product is based off of Altman’s personality: world’s best listener who tells you exactly what you want to hear with no remorse when it straight up lies to you.
Could we please focus the AI on replacing politicians, judges, attorneys, and CEOs instead of the little guys so that the asswipes with all the power would start putting some protections in place?
A lot of the AI that are being used are essentially a closed box. It's not possible to submit information about how something works, if we don't know how it works.
I do use it for therapy ig but understand that although it sounds real its a robot. I never use my real name or give any names of anyone or exact names of places. I just explain a senario and say how i feel. Most times i know the answer but reading what it says which is often times encouraging and even nice feels good. I also noticed it understands alot of subtle things like if im anxious or curi…
I think any even near human intelligent AI has to be open source, or at least make their code public and live as it updates. Not only so we can make it as non-idealogical as possible, but also because there’s no wayyyy we should trust something that will affect all of humanity to a few suspicious corporations and governments
This is just one of the reasons that Musk wanted to run DOGE, so he could dismantle agencies that were investigating him and so many issues with the Tesla cars and Self Driving claims.
"AI is acessible, unlike real art."
My dude, you have to literally just pick up a pencil and a paper to draw. What do you need for AI? A fcking computer or a phone that you pay loads of money just to have that. Digital artists have always started with a paper and pencil.
