race-baiter with no background in computers is certain it MUST be racism, and not something simple, like AI having difficulty with certain colors/patterns, because her entire career depends on the existential threat of racism
Dude, the problem is not the own concept of AI, is the fact that tjis machine use art without the permision of the original creators and plagiarize the artstyle of real life creators, fomenting the fraud with no protection for human artist ehile others use your to create money and sometimes, even your own name if you are a bit famous... Artist dont say no to tecnology, we just want protection aga…
Damn... I wasn't expecting that at all. Yet here I am on the verge of crying over ai generated pancakes.
2029 is when the robot said he was gonna launch the singularity that’s Agenda 21 Event 201 right before 2030
Unfortunately she will not win. It’s a deepfake of just her face put on someone else’s body. I can understand her pain, but it’s not her actual noods being shown.
People need to stop thinking of themselves in this limiting manner. AI can act as a pair of hands to make something, but it doesn't understand why it's making it this way and not that way. It never questions the choices. If you have reduced what you do to merely following a prompt, then you will be replaced. It all comes down to your ability to show that you are far more valuable of an asset than…
The fucking robot exits the truck full monotone, complete excitement. "I'm alive!" Is what gets me.
Pff, AI artists! Ha! What a joke. Just because I can use a blender doesn't make me a kitchen chef.
I think will be an addition to what we do. Used the canva AI concept art to make book cover art. I then went in with a painting tool and fixed what is messed up. (Usually hands) it created the perfect art. However many times the AI would mess up features. It painted a girl having three legs and another guys beard was pouring into his coffee cup. I dont think it will ever understand recreating hum…
the "scammer" more than likely actually had real photos too, just saying AI to make themselves feel better which is fair
@Buttcakes15 OpenAI used to be nonprofit. "OpenAI is a non-profit artificial intelligence research company. Our goal is to advance digital intelligence in the way that is most likely to benefit humanity as a whole, unconstrained by a need to generate financial return. Since our research is free from financial obligations, we can better focus on a positive human impact." this is from 2015. From 20…

A.) It wasn't an argument. It was a statement. You clearly didn't pass high school English.
B.) Artificial Intelligence is on the fast track. Scientists and engineers WILL eventually figure out how to create a synthetic brain with all of the working capabilities of a human brain. If Robots are created with the ability to reason, that would be dangerous. Fear means preparation. Justified …
Yeah. This channel has been very pro-AI. The only negative AI story I saw from it is that one with the music thing, and that's because the Youtuber was directly affected, and even that wasn't that negative. I thought that it was actually souring on AI. But nope, it was just as you said, 'hold off a bit, but it will get better'. So it's still continuing the pro-AI trend, but just proceed with …
@Wheatly_Portal2-. This is definitely where the analogy falls apart. Theoretically: a composer can write their music in piano roll, and then play it into a self playing piano. But I imagine most of the time they just copy the music someone else composes.
Even then, there's objectively way more control as to the output of a self-playing piano then there is with AI art. You can literally decide …
For me it's also about control over the end result. AI takes away that control and replaces it with a random number that always leads to some unpredictable result. As long as I'm not fully in control the output will never be my creation. I want to create what I have in mind, not 10 images that kinda resemble a text description.
@Sadening Because ironically true AI would be much harder to make for manual labour and number jobs like accounting.
Art (on the internet at least) is a visual only medium (without sensitive calculations or fine motor skills needed) , so it is actually the more accessible place to develop AI (although what we have right now is more of an image generator.)
When AI reaches the point that it can…
Such multi-layered manipulation is exactly what an AI could do effortlessly, once they become super intelligent with some higher goals that we might not understand.
y'all boomers don't know how AI works, this was a parenting fail regarding a troubled kid which needed therapy.
If the technology exists to make a toaster than very soon someone will invent the toaster
I once saw an "AI art contest" skit made to defend the use of AI by going "look, even this random coworker says the art with the more complex prompt is better, clearly there IS some skill involved", as if the image generator didn't just happen to roll a "better" image lmao
