@Wheatly_Portal2-. This is definitely where the analogy falls apart. Theoretically: a composer can write their music in piano roll, and then play it into a self playing piano. But I imagine most of the time they just copy the music someone else composes.
Even then, there's objectively way more control as to the output of a self-playing piano then there is with AI art. You can literally decide the placement of _every note_ on the piano roll, but AI will always do some "interpretation", for lack of a better word.
