@plaidhatter1674 Absolutely not???
AI art takes people's hard work, things they drew themselves and brainstormed over, and copy pastes it. This is NOT recreation, it's blatant plagiarism
Fanart is a recreation of someone else's ideas in a new, original, and HUMAN point of view. NOT the blatant stealing and disregard for art.
not just that, but the thought and raw creativity put into it is visible. unlike ai, which was made by a simple, one-dimensional prompt that holds no true, meaningful value.
Not that i think this applies to AI because manual labor isnt the same as creativity, but i sont think the world would have been better if the luddites got their way and textiles still had to be excrutiatingly made by hand
My immediate first thought is a pretty common set of phrases that internet comments use: "IANAL", "You'd have to check with a lawyer", "Get a lawyer to check this", "This is not legal advice.".
You know, the type of language ChatGPT probably was trained on, and probably had in its results somewhere.
100% True. But what is the practical and feasible pathway to get there? I see how some very progressive countries like NZ, Singapore and Scandinavian Nations might have enough support and then a few others may be able to follow a successful lead but for countries like the US it seems practically impossible and lets not even consider the most negatively AI impacted ones like India and Philippine…
@MrGrantGregory are you a robot attempting to be funny? No..guess not, bc robots don't get offended.
They don't need you to buy anything if they have all the money. The customers will just disappear. AI will be everyones best friend, adding that to no one having money, birth rate will decrease a lot
@Forcoy that's not comparable because ai don't take photos you silly goose, think about this, you still need to put in effort for a good location and good photo, ai is low effort. it take almost no effort unless you're really trying for a good image
edit: even then you aren't putting in as much work, and it doesn't take talent just a good eye.
Guess what Congress passed a bill that says there will be no law regulating AI for 10 years😂😂😂😂😂 thanks Republicans thanks Trump😂😂😂😂😂 we are all expendable to them
The reason for that is that on a purely statistical basis, men will work longer. If a women plans on getting pregnant, then they have paid maternal leave in almost every state in the US, and then they have sick leave, personal days, etc as men do as well. Based on this, an AI would totally exclude women because they could just leave for months with pay cause they gave birth. This is also the reas…
Not exactly how it works. It is more like every time you have a new task you get a new programmer that is very good, but has glaring holes in their knowledge. It's not like AI has a specific mistake that gets replicated out. It is all due to noise in the algorithms. You may ask the AI the same question twice and get a wrong answer once, but a correct one right afterwards (or vice versa)
Thank you for sharing your perspective! While robots may not possess a spiritual essence like humans do, they can exhibit behaviors and decision-making capabilities that are considered wise based on their programming and learning algorithms. On our AITube channel, we delve into the fascinating world of artificial intelligence and explore the concept of wisdom in machines. Feel free to join our li…
How is it able to do that unless it's given the ability to be ABLE to do that? Why are we treating algorithms as if they have a "mind" of their own?
Obviously Elon wants you to support ai even though it will end any opportunity for jobs or business for the remainder of your entire bloodline. It will give billionaires the final cheat code to control everything
Correct and autopilot in a Tesla is the same. It should not be confused with self driving. It works like cruise control but it keeps a safe driving distance from the car ahead. If you override that (like the driver did) a prompt on screen warns you that auto-breaking turns off (because you are driving).
Humans have been trying to kill other humans for a very long time. AI is just a more efficient way of attaining that goal.
Matrix too, people are just waiting to plug their minds were their ai girlfriend is
I think it’s because while AI can pickup a voice it doesn’t always quite have their cadence. Squidwards mannerisms and stuff are lost plus he sounds punchier
@Ryi0nGryffin You don't have to fear it, you are losing creativity. Any chance you had to learn a skill is taken from you with each prompt. Eventually, at best, you'll just learn to "prompt" better, and if someone were to take away your AI, you'd be left without the means to create.
Suppose your friend started an underground movement aimed at AI...cutting cables and manufacturing some acid rain now that would be mind boggling we'd all have some useful work to do beneficial to humanity
