I feel like you've missed the point.
Responsibility is a redundant topic. We all need to accept responsibility and do as much as possible; fair share isn't applicable when it's a planet wide problem.
Yep, already talking about bad things done in the us and Canada. Difference is, you can talk about those things here without censorship. There is no place in the modern usa or Canada where you arent allowed to check for human rights abuses. If China wants to yell about the worst things the USA has ever done from the center of NYC, they can do that. Would they be so cool about someone spilling all…
I think Chat bots are just ONLY biased. I don’t know if that’s the best way to say it. They ONLY say what seems like a normal thing to say. People aren’t perfect, many therapists suck, but a simple chat bot is just even worse than talking to a random untrained person. Specially in their current form. Maybe one day it will work great tough, or help with some of a mental health worker’s job.
AIs shouldn't try to be "better humans" imho. They should just be impartial machines spreading knowledge and facts.
Trying to make it woke is just making the AI less A and less I. Idk who tf wants that.
I work a truly stable job (we’re on a contract and there’s 4 years left) where I do literally almost no work and it’s honestly really stalled my career lately.
I am incredibly afraid of leaving my job. I make OK money nothing crazy. I really want to leave but I literally don’t want to unless it’s a ridiculous raise increase.
My skills are stalling, I’m getting bored as fuck at work, and inflati…
yeah i hate when my date turns out to be underage, good thing i have an AI for that
It’s easy to see why old people get so confused with technology. They’ve watched it develop in ways they could never have imagined, in such short periods of time. After a certain point it can’t even be kept up with. Soon it’ll be all of us, not just old people. I would have never guessed this was AI, or believed it could be done just a couple years ago. We are catapulting into this stuff with no …
After reading Maya the bee stories online to my son and finishing them, I used chatgpt to continue the stories and read them to him.
Along the way, new characters were introduced, including Lightning McQueen, Sonic's friends and enemies, KITT from Knight Rider. Maybe also became super Maya and destroyed Robotnik's Death Egg. She also turned into a Mudkip for a while before turning back into a b…
CEOs should've been the first to be replaced with AI.
Most CEOs just got their job through nepotism or psychopathic office politics. The lot of them don't actually bring that much tangible benefit and the industry they're in would've had a boom regardless without their input.
There are a few revolutionary ones but that's the exception not the norm.
A nutless monkey can do their job.
I don‘t believe any of this for a second. The way you‘ve been treating your users for these past few months has been nothing but disgusting. Random changes to the program without any notice; re-routing models behind the scenes without any notice; restricting absolutely anything that might remotely be considered adult and/or offensive content; gaslighting the community into believing that talking …
I've noticed this argument being brought up before but isn't there one major flaw in it? "That the money generated"-part: how will robots and AI generate money if there's nobody around to consume?
Sadly, I feel like this could open up a market for open work human verification and handling of tasks that ai can fail to handle.
Why are we using LLMs for everything? They have a purpose, but they suck at complex reasoning. We don't use chess engines to draft emails.
>Seems like traditional engineering is taking a backseat to AI/ML
Completely not true. They just outsource all jobs abroad, primarily to India, Brazil, Mexico, and Eastern Europe. AI is just an excuse for US corporations for mass layoffs.
This is ridiculously long and I'm so so sorry😅
The reason why Dōjinshi works ( and is allowed) in Japan is that they have a strong culture of BUYING manga anime etc. We do not have the same with art.
Manga is such a huge market with commercial appeal, having these other stories made by fans just drives sales of the original more.
These publishers noticed that their characters were often "s…
One day there will be polls that ask “Are you a robot or a human?” and it will be something like 50% - 50%
As a professor in astronomy once said: " We have been looking for alien contact for so long. Now, with AI we have "the chance" to create the aliens (AI) ourselves.
Clip 2 is definitely seems like it's obviously AI Generated...but it also kinda looks like it was MADE to look AI Generated.
Cuz like, there's no errors in the shadows or continuity. Everything moves erratically, but that could be special effects not actual AI.
Medicine is based on algorithms, but people are not. The nuances and subtleties of interactions between patients and doctors are essential for obtaining accurate information beyond what the patient initially provides. This requires trust, the art of medicine, and a human touch. While AI will undoubtedly assist in these processes, entirely replacing humans would be unethical, especially given the …
Not gonna lie, most ai platforms open to the public already are monstrously superior in intelligence than most people
