As an engineer and someone who has been in the tech industry for decades, I enjoyed this vid. I’ve been thinking for ages that Tesla autopilot will ultimately be the end of the company due to liability lawsuits. The msm certainly hasn’t highlighted these recent motorcycle deaths...
BE CAREFUL OF MALE FRIENDS! I don’t even have social media or pictures of myself online and he tried to deepfake me. I’ve always said guys and girls CANNOT be friends and recently my girl friend befriended a guy and started bringing him around. He kept asking to get a photo with me saying things like “I have pictures with everyone” referring to my group of girl friends. He KEPT persisting on gett…
Actually, I believe this passage is more accurate...
Genesis 3:13 MSG
[13] “The serpent seduced me,” she said, “and I ate.”
We are currently falling into the same trap except with the promises of technology/ AI...🧐
What an episode! Left me a bit sad, fearful and drained. I left my passion for creative arts after high school, as science was the guarantee to secure a job. I did a PhD in Physics but couldn't secure a career in that field, and ended up working for a Fortune 500 company as a data/AI scientist, but what if it turns out that I am no longer needed? Living without purpose is the saddest reality.
"Apple has told the BBC that it does not use facial recognition technology in its stores." If it turns out that facial recognition has not been used in this case as reported by the BBC. Then Ousmane Bah has no case against Apple and this would be a case of miss-identification due to stolen identity. If anyone he should go after the NYPD for their poor investigation. But that's not where the real…
4:17 As a person who enjoys drawing characters and OC’s I think AI art is such a great concept in theory! But the ways is being used and passed off as being original really sucks. It could be such a great way to come up with concepts or ideas but instead it’s being used maliciously 😞
Suchir Balaji (1998–2024) was an influential AI researcher at OpenAI, known for his contributions to projects like ChatGPT, and his controversial death raised significant public interest and speculation. He was going to whistleblow in a hearing and interview. His death was right before his whistle blowing was to happen. What is going on in the AI industry.
I like the argument of large misaligned social structures in the debate of AI safety: humanity created governments, corporate entities and other structures that are not really aligned with human values and they are very difficult to control. Growing food and drug industries resulted in epidemy of obesity and deseases caused by it. Governments and finantial systems resulted in huge social inequali…
Yang was the only candidate I ever supported by donating to the campaign. No one cared about UBI or AI for that matter during the presidential election and everyone wrote him off. Now everyone is asking for him to come on news channels to speak more about the vision he had with AI taking over jobs and how we can protect our future.
As an actual artist who has seen a lot of AI “art” online, the moment I notice the imperfections, the art immediately doesn’t look good anymore. Deformed fingers, blurry ornaments, multiple pupils, and the common anime style… it immediately makes the image look uncanny. And the fact that it steals from artists with no permission, to the point that programs have to be developed to prevent art from…
Disappointing interview with the guest who I think kind of misses the bigger picture. He's talking about the probability of AI taking actual jobs as opposed to the almost near certainty that AI is going to crash the economy because all these AI gurus have created a massive Financial House of cards. It's a bit like somebody complaining about the drapes in the house not matching the paint job but n…
He,s right because AI can and will override any human made computer and push the button
*shrug* The ChatGPT website literally warns you before you sign up that it is not always factual and sometimes makes things up. If you don't want to take that warning seriously, knock yourself out.
Yes it can. There have already been instances where AI created artwork has won first place. So it’s already happening now which is why artists are upset. If it wasn’t a threat, no one would complain.
Isn't that good? Imagine a world where we can just sit back and relax while robot do the work.
....at least until Detroit become human
I mean, you're still free to do art on your own, AI won't take that away from you and there will certainly be people who will appreciate it
Nah man unlike instant AI slop, some lego structure can be very complex and requires a lot of hour to assemble them, you can proudly call yourself a lego architect if done done something that a normal person can't
@hanyuuhiiragi3544just not true. Absolutely everyone knows that AI looks like shit and is a completely negative thing when it comes to art. It will absolutely get boycotted.
@Arika8004 AI is just a product of humanity, both its genus and idiocy, it just amplifies who is “driving” the conversation, and I’m not very concerned when I see most people who are are afraid of themselves. It’s another tool in a very complex world.
AI is a very broad term and can refer to relatively primitive software and algorithms, but the subcategory called generative AI is a genuine cause for concern if it keeps advancing without any ethical regulation.
