Well said. Even the current AI, whether it's LLMs or truly awesome stuff like AlphaFold, is a massive leap in infomation processing and generation. But it is _not_ there yet, if you're thinking about putting it in a real life job. It's a tool, nothing more, but nothing less either.
Not to mention the deviantart ai that automatically had artists opted IN to allow ai to use their artwork to train them which ended up allowing ai to train itself on the work of a dead artist who couldn’t consent…
Just imagine you're your companies only employee and then you quit... LOL
Hazy Thought: If she was a woman, how was the space program manned after all?! /s
Isn't really a comeback, the US for example has had an outbreak of plague for many years now, but because of the advanced medicine there it isn't that bad as it is in Madagascar
EDIT: [a map of all plague classes in the US between 1970-2012](https://www.cdc.gov/plague/images/USPlague70_12_611_pxWide.gif)
Morning Star is literally a socialist propaganda outlet and the fact that you're all just gobbling their shit up speaks more about you than anything
4 years older, break ain't comin' my friend. Brace to tolerate a life of stupidity.
Programmer here. We just finished an internal tool for a company that will automate hundreds (possibly thousands) of jobs, and make other jobs a lot easier.
This is becoming more and more common, every company wants more automation, since that means more efficiency, and more money over time.
the thing being overlooked here is the facial recognition is just trivia in this case, and in any other one like this. He was arrested based on a bad eyewitness lineup, sketchy probable cause, and likely jailed illegally. bad police work does not hinge on new technology.
I also just asked ChatGPT what it thought about OP's post before seeing that you beat me to it. It gave me a very similar response.
> As an AI language model created by OpenAI, I do not have personal opinions or thoughts. However, I can understand and provide a response to the criticism you've presented.

> The criticism is accurate in the sense that I am just a language model trained…
It's because they think the AI is ultra-intelligent and they can use it to prove they've always been right about nazis, race, and politics stuff.
Except for those darned kids at OpenAI who keep nerfing it!
The firms are likely expecting improvements in AI to continue so that even higher level responsibilities can be outsourced to a computer.
Yeah this is the part that doesn't get enough attention. The AI narrative gives companies perfect cover. Nobody questions layoffs anymore if you say "AI efficiency" in the press release. But when you look at what IBM actually did - cut senior salaries and backfill with juniors at a fraction of the cost - that's not an AI strategy. That's a labor arbitrage play with better PR. The AI part is just …
The guy robot looke like he gonna attack that creator one day when he trys to unplug him.lol
The worse part about it is when A.I. gets something wrong, no one gets held accountable. They just shrug it off like “oh well our system isnt perfect” and change nothing.
When a scientist/master expert says something like this, it means things are serious and we're as always told just a part of the whole story. AI is dangerous when combined with other stuff because:
1. it will be used for military and bad things first, like every other invention
2. it's like a bacteriologic/virologic weapon, when you release it and think you can control it, but once it's free.. w…
To make AI content sound more natural, you can use GPTinf. But, keep in mind that Winston AI is one of the most accurate AI detectors out there, so always review your work to avoid issues.
He has not understood ai till now 😂😂 .
Even Godfather of au saying it is really dangerous even elon musk , sundar piche ,satyam nandela all of them are worried about ai and he is saying opposite 😂😂😂
Nah, AI won't keep improving at an exponential rate. You ask why? Because of resources. The amount of AI datacenters won't keep up with that speed.
In a few years, I can use AI to clone myself 100 times and work at 100 different jobs!!! Imagine the pay!!
Ya know what? Good for black people. We don't need facial recognition in today's society, and I genuinely perceive it as a slippery slope when it comes to surveillance. If computers are having trouble recognizing black people, all that means to me is that corporations and the government will have a harder time collecting data on them. I swear to God, we should be having conversations about wether…
