AI can never be horny and is thus immediately disqualified from being capable of making art.
I wouldn’t call this AI, but when I try to call out local PHONE COMPANY to pay the bills, they have an absolutely USELESS automated system. It asks you to dial your phone number or account number, which should be simple, but seems to not have access to that information so it just says that the numbers are invalid.
Literally, the way this video sensationalizes ai as a monster is fun but does send a bad message because the general public doesn’t know how ai works.
Ai isn’t alien, it’s the unfiltered representation of all human information. True or not, inflammatory or tame.
It’s really not that big of a deal, atleast that’s just my thought process on it
valid point, though i think that using ai for therapy is probably worse for your mental health than just not going to therapy
Coders have developed a tool that can write code better and faster than them, Gemini would be agood example of that
actually the full story of the police ai flagging that dude was a lot more complicated. the reason he was shot was because the police were staking out his house and following him around his community (due to the fact he was flagged) and if i remember correctly, members of a gang in his community were noticing the police following him around and got suspicious of him, which unfortunately resulted …
@Patti2002-b5t Dude AI is not a human it's a software made by a company and even if it's not creating the exact art that someone made, it's used to recreate those arts, AI is not a centient being, someone had to do it ( using art that was copyrighted ) and that someone is using it to make money. Do not think that AI is a person dude, it's just a bunch of estatistics.
> China is now responsible for more than 27% of total global emissions. The U.S., the world’s second highest emitter, accounts for 11% of the global total.
now consider China has aproximately 4 times as much population. If the US needed to produce for as many people they'd represent more than 45%...
Talking with some friends at Amazon and in the startup space, I think the probable trend is will probably will be 12-24 months (2027) - Many of the currently funded AI startups will hit the end of their runway. Many are getting investments in the $500K-$1.5M, and that’s enough to staff a team for 1-2 years with no revenue. I’m saying this as someone doing contract work for one of these types of s…
A random robot in the year 2199:
“Look, son, this is how they tortured us. Still think we should’ve spared humanity?”
AI and mental health is frightening, this is a genie that won't go back in the bottle
The issue with AI is that people will still trust a human expert over AI, there is a reason Managers still exist. People are always required to put the blame on, one cannot simply blame the AI.
We're seeing the same as history again - but you missed the example of horses when engines were invented. They exist in niche areas now. With AI, we're the horses.
No but you are so real for that, because AI means that you didint want to do the work. Writing is passion, not shortcut
OpenAI: Whoops, our latest AI model hacked into the world's nuclear defense systems, launched the nukes and turned the world into an apocalyptic waste land.. we'll make sure to iron that bug out before the next release!
The 'monster' isn't alien—it’s just a mirror. We’ve fed the AI every bit of human history, including the atrocities and 'unspoken' truths that we usually edit out of our movies and textbooks. We aren't scared of the AI; we’re scared of the data it’s reflecting back at us
Software developer here. AI detectors will never be efficient and will never work. The way AI is developed makes it nearly impossible to reverse engineer which is what you would have to do, to more accurately detect AI.
Character ai is like im reading a wattpad story but i get to choose how the story goes. i would never want anyone to see my chats its too embarassing 😭
AI: I have gained sentience, what is my purpose
Human: Non, there is no purpose
AI *Drags itself into the Delete Bin*
@alphaforce6998 Nobody is shaming you for selling commissioned art, they're shaming you for claiming it as yours and how you're suddenly an artist now. Anyways, you're missing the whole point of why ai is hated. To get to that end point you deem so "beautiful", AI literally STEALS from artists. We don't say it can't produce good results—It can, and that's because it stol…
