Doesn't mean they won't be pissed off about it, though, merely that this would be hypocritical. Which... yeah.
>>After that, you may agree to the AI or override it's decision. So you are wasting your & the AI's time and effort.
I'm not sure it is always so cut and dried.
What about algorithms that make life and death decisions? Medical decisions, or military robots. What about ethical issues? Some algorithms have absorbed human bias. Can we always trust their decisions in that case.

Bill Gates about capitalism
"Second, market forces won’t naturally produce AI products and services that help the poorest. The opposite is more likely. With reliable funding and the right policies, governments and philanthropy can ensure that AIs are used to reduce inequity. Just as the world needs its brightest people focused on its biggest problems, we will need to focus the world’s best AIs o…
I've had the opposite experience too, I kept insisting to be connected to a human and the AI got frustrated and called me on my phone.
Turns out it really was a human, and he wasn't lying lmao
A friend is mentally ill but thinks she's physically ill, Chatgpt made her believe that she had a life threatening allergic reaction to her bed frame, without any! Actual allergy symptoms and that doctors aren't well enough trained to see it. In the end she only ate rice and bottled water for days until I made her type up a message of her symptoms, and put it into a new AI chat deepseek, and it s…
Imagine if someone asked you in 2017 whether you would prefer AI to write an essay for you or write it yourself, all of us would have chosen to write it ourselves because AI wrote sh*tty essays, now look at it, most of us use chatgpt in our english projects😂

On the surface, this sounds like a plausible future but it overlooks the massive impact of widespread job loss due to automation. You’re not looking at the big picture or fully considering cause and effect. Right now, the economy is already teetering on a major downshift. It’s a complex issue, but when you combine inflation, rising unemployment, and stagnant wages, you end up with an economy that…
"Just two more weeks and the bubble will pop, bro!"
Have you ever considered that lots of people generate AI art because the alternative is paying obnoxious neo-luddites such as you?
AI is replacing you and there is nothing you can do about it.
I care about the rights of artists. As a voice artist (and other arts) this resonated. This is so well done. I'm sorry people are knee-jerk in their responses. I don't want AI to ruin things for artists 😔
I don’t see the use of Gen AI, This is all just done on conventional methods so really no big deal. It’s just called digitalization
I wonder how many influencers in the crowd won’t even acknowledge these protests when doing their videos recapping the day.
You can see many apps where ai is teaching as a personal teacher better than human in a quite lower price
@Draconic404 those forms of art are typically commissioned, the artist isn't doing it for fun, they are getting paid, it's their job. delegating that to AI is taking people's jobs in an already very difficult field to get work in. not to mention it still has the same environmental harm regardless of what type of art it's being asked to generate.
i did not expect a comment about gooning to be one of the best ones going against AI art. But okay then!
@SLYKM sure, if you could train an AI model WITHOUT using the work of artists who DID put in thousands of hours, but AI users want the tools handed to them, cause you didn't make your own AI model did you? And they feel entitled to scrape other people's intellectual property to build their copy machine
People who think AI would be better at driving than human had never debugged a performance bug due to someone lazily putting sleep to quickly workaround a race condition. Seen that more often than I wish I had.
No, the post office might hold it for 2 months before they attempt to deliver.
Apparently it's not? I'm in the UK and my company has a camera in the cab, using ai to detect if we are using our phone, drowsy, or other risky behaviours?
Would be nice to know if it is illegal, as it's fitted to about 170 trucks of various sizes!
This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://www.bbc.com/news/world-56465395?=) reduced by 83%. (I'm a bot)

> "Where we could have language in there that would make it easier for countries to produce more vaccines and more medicines within their country, it would include initiatives that would finance and facilitate that. The UK is on the opposite side of the argument…
There's not a viable solution to horny people. Before this, it was photoshop. Before photoshop, it was imagination.
Not training an AI model on nude anatomy has already been shown by SD 2.0 to lead to less effective and realistic generation across the board, even when used for clothed images. It needs to understand the concept of what's under the clothes to get the body and clothing correct. B…
