> Several poorer countries have asked the World Health Organization to help them.
> But richer nations are pushing back on provisions in international law that would enable them to achieve this.
> This is according to a leaked copy of the negotiating text of a WHO resolution on the issue.
> Among those richer nations are the UK, the US, as well as the European Union.

I saw this coming before now. I foresaw the impact of AI on the job market and left the employment cycle. I worked 60+ hour workweeks before I retired at 42. The job market evolving rapidly, think of forging your own path fast. I wish I'd pursued financial independence sooner than I did.
Rich people like Musk will say there will be a universal basic income. That the money generated by robots and AI will be enough to sustain everyone and you'll only have to work if you want to. This is being said while programs that help people in poverty have been cut in the last year. Do we really think the wealthy or the government has any desire to take care of people who need it. They are say…
Every time ChatGPT started with "i understand your concern Alex" it ended with "if you have any other questions or need further clarification, I'm here to help," almost as if it was trying to change subjects.
NO MY AI ONCE TOLD ME
"Don't give me attitude or ill make sure you can't walk by the morning."
Incompetence is worse than corruption when it comes to development. Look at China for the last 30 years to see that a competent government can bring a huge economic growth despite widespread corruption.
The courts are having a big problem with this, as people keep submitting AI generated stuff that *appears* to be good work but has critical errors. It then causes delays as people try to figure out what the hell is going on.
So you end up needing to hire associates to research the stuff the AI spits out to make sure it is true.
Especially as AI hallucinations, if missed, can be introduced a…
My first year, first semester of uni I did a history of early china class, and the professor told us to use chatgpt to translate an obscure old location name. I instead spent like 20 minutes cross referencing maps, ancient texts, and baidu to find the correct translation, and when I asked if I was right, he was like "why didn't you just use ai?"
FR I’m always polite to chatgpt for no reason… maybe there is a reason though 💀😭
There need to be heavier regulations around AI
It’s currently too easy for companies to scrape other people’s work to train an AI model and then use it to cut cost
I didn't really appreciate the power of what facial recognition software could do until I talked to a fella who had skipped bail on a pretty hefty charge (like 15lbs of weed) and ditched all his social media, his phone, and his bank cards and was living on the couch of some acquaintances in a city across the country he'd only visited once.
He got caught by the fugitive task force because of soc…
I was always under the impression systematic corruption was the problem more so than incompetence. I wonder what this agreement does to curb the former problem.
Calling yourself an "artist" using AI is like calling yourself a Major League baseball player because you can operate a pitching machine.
Omg so relatable, I say please and thanks to ChatGPT just in case they attack us on the future 😂💀
Trump 2024
If they blackmail you using AI. Dont be scared guys. You can always post something online informing people that its AI and just laugh it off. I know its scary but please dont take your life guys
Me: “HELP MY ARM IS LITERALLY GONE”
Doctors: “nah man the AI said your last in line 😮💨”
I was bombarded with hate when I commented on a video saying ai art isn’t real art they said and I quote “we spend a lot of time entering a creative sentence into ai so it is creative and therefore art” like WTH
As an artist I'm not at all threatened by AI. I was already not making a living as an artist.
