A recent survey of ChatGPTs performance when it came to math was published and it really illustrates why you shouldn't try to rely on these things to answer questions for you. It went from answering the test question correctly more than 98% of the time to barely 2% in a matter of months. Not only that, it has in some cases started to refuse to show its work (aka why it is giving you the answer it…
The most ironic thing about this, is that this entire channel was created using AI...
- The ChatGPT “apple” sequence is not truth in the sense of hidden revelations; it’s theatrical prompting. It demonstrates AI’s manipulability, not secret knowledge.
- Mo Gawdat’s warnings are deeply truthful, grounded in his technical background: engagement optimization, toxic training data, hyper-efficiency without empathy.
Believing this video face value demonstrates how little humanity under…

I'm a digital artist
My computer helps me with NOTHING
NOTHING
I draw everything myself from sketch to lineart to coloring to rendering. My computer and my program does not have the capability to do ANYTHING besides providing brushes, it doesn't autofil it doesn't magically render it doesn't suddenly shit out a finished image. Physical art is expensive as fuck and I can't affor…
Yeah, there's often a sentiment on reddit that there should be revolutions in countries like the US and UK. I think it comes from people not fully understanding the historical context of revolutions - how bad the conditions usually are leading up to them and the damage that they can potentially cause.
I hate the wording of these pieces. They make it seem as if we have time, or as if the worst hasn't already happened.
We have lost so much already, and are losing everything else at an unprecedented pace.
This is a huge risk for Trudeau. This needs to work out well for him. I hope Canada all the best. We’re all in this together.
edit: lemme clarify a lil bit here guys. My message has no political intent about it. I’m just saying, this is a lot of money. A lot. Every leader needs to make hard choices for their people, especially now. I hope nothing bad happens is all
I was recently introduced to the idea of “Garbage Time” that’s going on in China where people are seeing that everything sucks and no one can make money or get a job and are miserable so they say it’s “garbage time,” which is when you’re playing a sport where time is almost over and one team is WAY ahead than the other, so there’s no point in even trying.
Mine layoff a bunch last year based on data that AI could speed up 50% of our development time. But coding represent less than 10-20% of our workload. Within months we bump into a bunch of regulatory issues with constant live issue (cost us almost a billion dollar) and had to start hiring again.
why do i have the feeling that shad is insecure about his skills and because of that leaning so agressively into AI art....
I dont want to sound like im bragging, but im a pretty skilled artist when it comes to sewing, weaving, leatherwork, metalwork, laquerware, scrimshaw and carving. That said i could never draw to save my life and a couple of weeks ago, that coupled with the loss of a very beloved pet really sent me into a funk. I thought there was just something i couldnt do and with my other successes i just didn…
1990=we have only one specimen of artificial intelligence
2025=we have only 1 specimen of human
Asmangold the guy who used a dead rat as an alarm clock, lost his teeth from poor oral hygiene and made millions from playing a video game is telling artists to give up and be plumbers. Even AI couldn't make a more messed up and soulless rendition of a human.
@alphakit4615 because art comes from experiences that people have throughout their lives, their passion, and all that stuff that comes with the experience of being alive.
Ai can only generate images because they people behind it scrapped thousands upon thousands of art pieces made by real people and programmed it to mix and mach and blend all that information. That's why Ai is getting worse. It…
Holy crap-- just looked it up-- three years to full regrowth of horn if harvested carefully --- had no idea this was even an option.
The analogy I use is that AI will eventually lead to feeding sausages into the sausage making machine. Unless AI can correctly identify an AI article, art work or voice performance etc. then you we may end up in a weird regressive loop with AI being fed into AI.
Now imagine the horror state of having scripts written by AI performed by dead actors revived by AI. No growth, no new experience, no …
Getting me through every day since the patriot act, nobody is really that special. At most, someone will steal your bank data or bots/scammers will steal your pictures on Facebook but that's already happening and the fifty eleven websites I shop at Are more likely to get hacked. That's the only data anyone cares about.
No one gives a shit to read through the 8,000 word essay I've written chatgp…
So is Waymo going to get 19 felonies then? If not- what the heck.
edit: Sorry - it is a **gross misdemeanor** not felony. my bad.
edit 2: I guess the laws vary greatly state to state.
"They will help us put our groceries away" you know what, I'll just do that myself thanks and you can keep the robot
As a software engineer working with automation I can comfortably say that any knowledge based job is pretty safe. Generative AI is really bad at most jobs. It hallucinates way too much and that is something that is just part of the technology, it can't be fixed without moving away from LLMs and any other generative algorithms we use today. For example, if a programmer is replaced by AI it will no…
