It's from an AI "movie" lol. It's p much just a still image of a girl saying she's a magician or smth and then does basically an iMovie effect to "disappear" and then reappears
And what do the plumbers do in 5 years when AI robots can do that too?
It's called #NoPlant19 on farmer twitter. Something close to 60% of corn and soy is unplanted, in a nation that relies on *absurd* amounts of those two crops, because the fields they were supposed to be planted in were *underwater.* Climate change isn't for our grandkids anymore.
One of those 'Fuck Yeah!' moments.
Just curious as to why Eritrea did not agree earlier.
It'll be extremely interesting to see what advancements are made because of this whole situation. There must be an unprecedented level of money being invested into developing a vaccine for this virus. It's one of those rare examples of just how much humanity can achieve when the whole world starts working towards a common goal.
What will we learn? If we can push out a vaccine in just a year or t…
Exactly - I love hard work… when it’s necessary and important. Bonus if it’s a passion of mine. But if it’s possible to automate then why would we not do that asap so people can enjoy their lives??
wtf is happening
i feel for the first time in my life i'm seeing a huge tech advancement and for the most part the media doesnt seem to care?
Like bitch i can type a sentence and my gpu will generate an image in a minute that i'd need to train for years to accomplish. I used chatgpt to help me with a story i'm trying to write.. these chatbots were always mostly useless, and now i hear of people…
There are actually more well-known people who warn against AI. I think the potential of mankind to use it is incredibly big, but just as big is the risk that something happens that is not in the sense of the general public. The whole thing is a slippery slope. I hope that most researchers are aware of the potential danger. The possibilities that AI can offer us are currently beyond the imaginatio…
100%.
I’m not sure if like the thought of all the lonely people that now get their only social interaction from LLMs. I think it will lead to more isolation and potentially millions who have basically jacked their brains into an AI that can potentially be controlled maliciously.
Seriously what is your tech stack and project that AI does it right the first time and with clean code?
One huge missing part of the argument is from people like myself. I have near total aphantasia. I can’t mentally picture anything more than blobs and vague colors, and I only know what something is supposed to look like because I’ve memorized how to describe it. I can tell you what an apple looks like, but all I picture when I think of an apple is a vague red blob with a bit of green and yellow. …
There are no ethics in AI. Not one iota of research, design or manufacturing should be done UNTIL the ETHICS are set in stone and agreed to by all. AND the repercussions/consequences for violating these ethics are set in stone. With first violations receiving huge fines and MANDATORY prison
The Billionaire AI companies don’t care how many people lose their jobs. It’s all about getting richer.
personally i think using these ai images as an inspiration for your work or for practices is okay. i've been using them as a reference for some art style and rendering study too. this person though 💀 they could've just admitted they traced it for studies, why would you lie about something so obvious and claim it's your own work/idea.
Note how many of AI's most ardent supporters (specifically the "it enfranchises more people to make art" types) aren't afraid to lose that part of themselves, because the don't believe they have it to begin with.
Kinda sad if you think about it.
Yes, why invest time and money into negotiations and signing a deal when some old men can just decide to pull out of it the next day. Trump will make the US even more untrustworthy than Bush ever could.
Apple Maps is nice now, but the information on it is frequently wrong or out of date. Literally this week I had to fix up my local barber’s listings because some marked him as “permanently closed”. So anyone who searching for him on iPhone, that’s what came up.
Google for better or worse, the links between there advertising platform and maps means the information is nearly always right. And they…
In real world this situation would never happen. Let say the only self-driving car on the road is behind and truck, without factoring what's on the left and the right it should have kept a following distance of 6seconds. Now to prove my point I need to do a little math here. 1 miles is equal to 5280 feet, at 60MPH every second the car would be traveling at 88 feet per second. and the following d…
-artists work is being taken without consent
-these stolen works are filtered through AI to make commercial products
-AI samples and replicates others artwork, people take inspiration and study them
-its more of an image, not an artwork since it lacks the fundamental process of creation
personally i think ai can be used to help artists colour or animate, but taking over a CREATIVE INDUSTRY is no…
Art is my passion so I hate to see people use ai and claim it's their art 😭
