why do we must make robots with conciousness and feellings. if a robot doing its purpose thats enough for me. they dont have to have feelings

I do like calling ai bots clankers out of annoyance but going so far as to roleplaying 1950s racism or phrasing it in a real life racist way is really gross and disturbing to me. Like you don’t have to do that.

To be honest I don’t really get these DTIYS with AI art. Doesn’t that just give them more attention? Isn’t that more like inviting them to be a part of the art community instead of protesting against them? I does more harm than good imo

AI is overrated AF. I try to use it as often as possible in my engineering work, but it often fails so badly in giving reliable and on point information. As many already said, these are just models regurgitating words based on probabilities.
