I get your theory- doesn't apply to plumbing unfortunately. Maybe fix a clogged drain or replace a catch pipe under a sink. Robots have been in factories for so many years now, robots designed by the same humans that designed the car that the robot is going to build- even with that much control, not cross threading a bolt is challenging. Cutting down the right section of drywall/sheetrock to run a pup upstairs/downstairs is going to need the amount of robot effort of so many human salaries- humans will just be cheaper for the lifecycle of that robot you're taking about.
