Interestingly the rest of the programming industry is becoming like the game industry. There used to be a running joke that you need 5 years of experience for a new grad entry level game developer role. Now it seems like AI is making that a reality for the rest of the industry. If you can't add more value than an AI agent, why would a company hire you. AI is cheaper.
