Using disability as a front is disgusting. I'm disabled artist that mostly makes stuff from Rimworld modding and I know quite a few disabled artists within and without that community. NONE of us haven't - and don't - rely on AI to do things our art for us. We all found our own way to do things that fit us specifically. For art, it can come down to the program, or what medium is used (mouse, tablet,, etc.) and even the art style. Art is purely an expression of ourselves, and relying on AI entirely defeats that. Anyone using disability as a shield is almost certainly a liar, and it gives disabled creators who legitimate do use aspects of AI (such as generating angle refs) an incredibly bad name. Edit: to be clear; my grip and stability is affected daily so using a tablet, and even a mouse, can be challenging. But I work with that. Instead of letting the shakiness mess me up so often I let it guide the shapes of how various art pieces are going to end up, allowing me to make alien, high fantasy, and "naturepunk"-looking art. Artists don't fight themselves, or let a machine do the work. We work with what they have, and we produce damn good, original results.
