Artists using Nightshade are trying to “punish” AI by poisoning datasets, but it’s like throwing pebbles into a lake, you might make a splash, but you’re not changing the course of anything. AI models are trained on massive redundant data, this kind of sabotage barely registers. It’s not AI doing the pebble throwing, it’s the artists, thinking they’re disrupting something that’s already far beyond their control. The context is people mistaking noise for resistance.
