@SuperMimi-nb I know quite a bit and I have also graduated in psychology and currently studying neuroscience, so please. The debate is mostly phylosophical rather than functional and it feels to me like people in the past saying that non-human animals "can't really think".
Regardless of this, why don't we move on from this debate and don't we just admit that even if it was true, it doesn't make AI more ethical or better in any way instead of following the red herring?
