Autistic artist here as well. I will never understand the argument of "AI can be used for the disabled" when it's really just ableist in nature to think people who are otherwise neurodivergent and/or physically disabled cannot make incredible works without a machine. It's a very shallow and ignorant mindset to have. I love making my own things and watching my progress and my improvement. There's just something rewarding about progressing with your art that AI just can't fulfill. Even working with references (that aren't generative AI) feels so satisfying, even after so much frustration on thinking that you aren't getting it right.
