Its a kind of traditional way of thinking to say robot can't. If we train millions of visual cues and emotional intelligence receptors it can overperform highly trained teachers even for 30 years. When we see other's face if they are lying or not, there's a lot of visual cues, and even miniscule body language if the robot can sense it then it's such a wonderful thing.
Presently the problem is they themselves don't express those cues, so we find these robots as cold, expression less things, it requires muscle like replica for bringing those smiles and emotional aspects, but this is currently very innovative and required billions of investment.
