It would just be like any group of people rights. There was a time, women couldn't vote, or gay people couldn't get married. There was a time there were slaves. These robots are concious and if they have the intelligence of a human, shouldn't be treated like an appliance, rather a family member. I'd say only the self aware and non violent ones get rights but with the exception that they pass am intelligence test. Like to see how human they really are. I'm not talking about the ones we have now. I'm saying, a test to see how human one can be. To see how well they'll display emotions and learn like a human. If an ai can blend in with society, then they should get society's rights too.
