I mean the people making AI art are artists by definition. Why aren't you getting mad at people sampling songs or remixing songs. It's similar as they didn't take the time to create anything, but tweak a few things. AI art is doing more of that. Also respect is earned, not a requirement. I don't really have to respect anything people make as I make it my own. This is your own subjective opinion. Also if its your passion why do you want to make money of it? Wouldn't you rather that you didn't have to live off your passion as your income and just live sustained life while making art on your own? Creativity and Captialism doesn't bode well and the fact society hasn't given a single fuck about artists is an example of that.
