Coding AI will largely end up as a tool. It seems amazing for people that have low skills. For people with high skills it's basically a slightly better version of copy/pasting from StackOverflow. In coding it's only raised my productivity for things I'm not good at (like CSS). And you can use it to grab common algorithms like a breadth-first search. For things that are supposed to be linked into your main codebase, it's just not very useful.
