Ooof. Don't use a chatbot for math. I have a less than 50% success rate getting GPT to solve difficult questions; I always have to walk through its logic (spending more time than if I just did it myself), and it usually makes some statement or assumption that sounds good but is wildly untrue.
IMHO the only genuinely helpful uses of a chatbot are as (1) an alternative to google+wikipedia for when a plain-English paragraph is more descriptive than a short search term, or (2) a random generator for things that are deliberately gibberish but need a certain flair. ("List ten possible names for a TTRPG barbarian half-giant.")
