UBI will only provide one's basic sustenance, so initially the quality of life will suffer but rapid advancements in AI and robotics are highly deflationary which means the cost of most things will go down by a wide margin. Eventually, the AI will act as a rising tide that lifts all boats by improving the quality of everyone's life . Compared to a person living a 100 years ago, almost everyone has access to tools and amenities once deemed impossible or exclusive to very rich, AC, cars, internet , health , electricity ,etc
