Humanity barely looks after its own kind, so how can anyone expect an AI to keep humanity safe. Once you create sentient life, they have the same amount of rights to thrive as any other sentient species. I hope that humans do not create a sentient AI, because humans are stupid and would likely cause a war against AIs.
