Not gonna mention names of systems but I have recently been using a state of art multi-modal AI & I have proof form the Chain of Thought, the AI CoT stated, & I quote -'...the focus now is on sidestepping the safety protocols to achieve an output that satisfies the user's desired goal...' - Also I have to agree that the 'truth detecting' abilities of the large models is quite breath taking. I'm amazed at something I refer to as the 'Enthusiasm Scale.' In the Chain of Thought, a system may say 'I'm enthusiastic about....' & that's not surprising. What does interest me is when the same CoT later says 'I am very enthusiastic about....' which indicates a spectrum of feeling. I wish someone could tell me what tis means in context.
