This is a common thread among zoomers, both those who are legitimately intelligent and those who just think they’re intelligent.
At least some are consistent. They may believe AI will never surpass human intelligence, but they are also dismissive of it and don’t believe it will solve all of their problems either.
What’s odd to me are the people who believe they’ll get the best of both worlds. An AI so smart that it solves all of the problems humanity has failed to solve, and also one that will never outsmart them.
