@Sammysapphira Sammy if you ran a marathon, and felt good about yourself for running it, then when you get really good at running and by doing it for long enough, would you not feel bad if a team of people invented a car and they drove it around?

Well yeah that wouldn't be enough on its own, its just a new tool to make us faster, and wont take over doing a marathon.
Now, imagine the people who made the car, and the people using the cars ranting and talking how "doing marathons take too long" and "this is a efficient way to do marathons! for anyone out of shape and are not good at doing a marathon!"
That's the problem, they are acting like this is art from the person generating it, if you are making ai art, you HAVE to say its ai and not art, its generating a image, not drawing it.
Also, shame on you for downplaying making art with limited use as "pointless". Its a way of expression, like with everything about art. By definition you need a conscious to make art, and you and I should agree that ai does not have a conscious. So by definition you are not making art, you are "generating"
