The point is that it can reply expressing all those apparent emotions if that how you instruct it to behave. Is this news to anyone except, perhapse, our grannies?
The great takeaway from the video is that AI is for now, just roll-playing. Tell it to behave like an easily frightened eight year old, and that's how it will reply.
