There is no loneliness epidemic. In most cases it is just consequences of ones actions (or the lack of). Sure there are people in unfortunate circumstances but they would not amount to the current "epidemic" level. Most of them want what they want and have zero wiggle for any compromises - that's not how relationships work and this is why AI relationships are on the rise in those circles, there are no compromises there, chat bot does what you want.
