"Put in the work" yourself is so true. I recently took a pottery class where the teacher would jump in and fix my mistakes every time he thought my piece was about to collapse on the pottery wheel. The bowls ended up looking far better than I could have made myself... but they don't feel like my pieces. I have no sense of satisfaction. But even then, i put in FAR more effort than these AI "artists."
