The idea that AI art is like photography even in its early stages of simply capturing a moment in time is still heinous. Those photos actually happened, people were physically there, dressed up and posing in real life. They capture the reality of the moment with accuracy, which while a departure from an artist's depiction of the moment in portraits, is still artistic in the photographer's framing and the subject's presentation.
AI can't even do framing right, nevermind presentation.
