As someone who mediocre at drawing and mostly drawing comic, I feel it's the one aspect that AI can't really touch (for now). They can't make comic from prompt alone, they can't even finish draft into 'proper comic'. I feel even if someday AI can help you finish comic, you still need human to work behind it for planning and stuff.
Personally what make me mad about AI it's the copyright issues or people claiming AI as their own art (and they sell it!). If it's only used as tool or something 'to have fun', I might won't be that mad. Something like picrew exist before and I find it cute people make their OCs with it, but it's from artist for people to play around with it. Meanwhile in AI art, many artist doesn't agree they use their picture for 'training data'. It's really unethical.
