It's not what she's saying. AI doesn't decide anything, it just calculates the image with statistics and generates somethings that aligns with your prompt, but for example, even if you were to draw a person throwing a punch against the screen and specify to the AI that you want the arm punching to have a thicker outline, for a person really invested in drawing there'll be nothing to discovery about that thicker line, maybe the knuckles are even thicker than the rest of the arm but that's not due to what the author wanted to do (maybe making the hand even more recognizable), but rather what the AI calculated it could be the statistically better thing to do. The fact that the machine only understands 0 and 1s makes everything it decides useless for a person who draws, and then not interesting, and unless the prompt is *billion* words long or you paint over the entire thing, that's not going to go away, the machine isn't interesting for people who draw and many ones are showing that since 2022. In my opinion, AI isn't really made for art except than with really specific abstract painting, in all the other fields, and especially when used to make too much, it just ruins everything to chase the terrible tendency of going too fast of the world. Sure, it can be interesting to know *how* it creates, but that's all. A glorified toy that doesn't belong to the art world, and that i have yet to see used in a good way except for extremely rare causes of post-production like The Brutalist or Across the Spider-verse.
