What utter naivety you possess lol. Software development is not simply coding. It is more about figuring out the requirements and dividing a complex problem into sub problems and precisely defining each sub problem by figuring out exactly what the requirements are. This requires business domain knowledge as well as a proper understanding of context. All AI does is it helps people move up a layer in abstraction but it will never replace people. There will always be a need for problem solvers. Software engineering is first and foremost problem solving. Coding is just a tool. Even if coding gets automated, software engineers will not disappear
