@CookieCross the thing is that stealing is a bad thing because it affects the world in a negative way. If you rob a small gas station? That's stealing, that's bad. Taking a candy bar from Walmart? Morally not stealing. It's still stealing, technically, but it's not a bad thing because Walmart is a conglomerate that has a budget set up for people who steal, it's not affecting anything. Ai is doing the same thing, it won't affect anything. Of course, ai can still be used for bad, but it's not AI's fault, it's like if I stole a candy bar from Walmart and someone else broke into my house, took it from me, and then sold it for like $100 even though they didn't make it or put any effort into it. That's where the issue is, people are getting money for nothing which affects the economy and will make people lose jobs. It's horrible. I just wish people would actually focus on the real problem instead of "aI iS sTeAlIn MaH aRt" when that's a debatable topic and it's an opinion based argument. No matter what, there is going to be someone who doesn't believe ai art is stealing and there will be someone who believes it isn't stealing. The fact of the matter is that it's stealing jobs, and everybody agrees on that, so we should focus on that.
