@AsianDadEnergy The brain isn’t only a prediction machine, but every output from the brain is a prediction. There’s a few things wrong with that toddler analogy: By the time a toddler can solve a problem, their brain has already spent thousands of hours learning intuitive physics. They don’t use “pure reason” to solve new puzzles, they use active inference (predictions). It’s trial and error basically. Also, the AI we see today aren’t just LLMs, they’re multi-modal. Multi-modal systems can and are solving unseen problems even without the embodiment advantage that toddlers have.
