@billbreneman3053 well, however an insurance company does it, just like a good bookie- they aren't gonna lose.
Two things you're missing: 1. Only some trucking are over the road. McLane, USfoods, etc have 30 stops a day. I drop and hook 10 times a day. Gasoline trucks. I used to deliver lumber- i was climbing through that flatbed trying to find one piece of cherry wood half the day.
2. Human psychology: like I pointed out- APU has been able to take off, fly and land a plane for 50 years- idc, I'm not getting on a plane without a human pilot.
