@Steyr6500it does sound a loud alarm if a collision is imminent. The “forward collision warning” in my Tesla has 3 choices: early, medium and late. I set mine to medium because early was giving too many annoying false positives. There’s also automatic emergency braking. It doesn’t guarantee a crash won’t occur, but should reduce the severity of the impact.
